    Prayers and Pixie dust to heal an ankle

    hey everyone,
    today in gym class about half an hour ago, i tripped and sprained my ankle.not sure if its broken or what yet since i cant really drive to the doctors.. A lot of pain, and it swelled to the size of a golf ball. not very fun. very painful. so i will b staying home from skool for the next day or 2 until i can walk on it again. ill let you all kno if its broken or not once i get to a doctor.

    quick...R I C E - rest, ice, compress and elevate!!!! quicker the better. You don't need to ice continously, but several times for about 5 min or so till you get to the doctor. It will help keep the swelling down.

    It doesn't happen to be your right ankle is it? I just sprained mine friday and it swelled up pretty good too. Speaking of which, I just looked at it again just now, and I just noticed a new bruise further up my leg. P and P cause I know what you're going through.

    update: just got home from the hospital. they are going to call in a few minutes to tell me how bad my ankle is.. my doctor thinks its broken but she wants to make sure so i got 3 x-rays.

    okay doctor called.. and bad sprain not broken. better then then it being broken.

    no gym class for the rest of the year.. im gonna b bored as ever now..

    at least the school year is nearly over. glad to hear it's a sprain and not a break. (you can use that gym time as an extra study hour and skate through finals)
