Prayers and Pixie Dust for my mom..

So I just found out today that my mom has severe hearing damage and needs to get to hearing aids..

But they also think she has a disorder that could be partially from having a brain tumor.. it would be benign.. but that fact that my mom might have a brain tumor is a little shocking and sad to me

They do no tknow if the disorder is hereditary or not.. but it is still scary..

We won't find out about the brain tumor until she has an MRI.. so until we find out Prayers and Pixie dust is much needed

I've had some problems with my head so I can only imagine what she's going through. Will keep her in my thoughts and hope things go well.

yeah she told me what the disorder was but I do not remember.. My mom is a nurse as well so she was giving me all the scientific terms.. just sorta got lost

Hi, Sarah! I am new to the forums, so we wouldn't have had the chance to "meet" yet, but when I saw your post I had to write. I experienced hearing loss in my left ear several years ago, and they had to give me an MRI to look for a brain tumor that may have blocked the hearing. Everything turned out fine, but they had to do the MRI to rule out any possibilities, and it's such a scary thing to hear. The waiting is truly the worst, so I can somewhat relate to what you are going through, and wanted to pop in to let you know that I wish you and your mom the absolute best. I will keep an eye on this thread and will say prayers for you and your family.

P & P to your mom and family. I have hearing aids and if you have any questions let me know. My brother and mom has them too so we know a lot. I can say this, it will take some getting used to.
