we found out he can talk again. not perfect like before but hes getting there... his whole right side is temporarily paralized..and he cant walk. so he is in for a LOT of therapy.. he will be able to use his right half of his body again but not for a long time. We still dont kno what might have caused the stroke in the first place because hes a healthy kid. I'll give an update when i find out more. but until then..Thanks for all the prayers and pixie dust. Means alot to all of us here specially when they are so close to dieing. Everything you guys do here is like a miracle.
From everyone at my school and kyle, Thanks you guys rock!

Kyle's dad came into talk to both the 7th and 8th graders today.Kyle had a hemorige(sp) stroke or something. It was really a rough 10 minutes for his brother who was sitting next to me, and for his dad. Eventually my health teacher had to help explain it because it was too hard for Mr.H. Thanks for all the prayers guys. they seem to be helping. Kyle should be getting out int he next week or 2. today is the mark of 2 weeks being in the hospital. but he wont be back in school yet. He will stay home until he can use his right half again or learn to write with his left hand.

Glad he will get to go home soon. Sounds like his family is holding up well and I am sure he is glad his friends haven't dumped him. I hope you keep visiting him and fill him in on all of the school happenings and such. You are a great friend ti him. We will keep praying for a swifter then usual recovery so he can get back to school.
