DS and DDIL are in Thailand on vacation since last Sunday. We have not heard from them since last Saturday when they were in Cambodia. We are hoping no news is good news. Please pray they can make it home safe and sound, and that the situation with the protesters can be ended peacefully.
I can only imagine what you must be going through at the moment. I get concerned about DD when I haven't heard from her in a day or two, and she lives across town. :pixiedust:

Wow, I hope this comes to a happy conclusion, have you called the state department yet? They can help locate them and do a health and safety check.

Good news: Heard from the kids yesterday via email. They are safe and sound. Bad news: They have to travel back to Bangkok to make arrangements to get home to Chicago. They are on a train now for a 14-hour trip to Bangkok. They were originally supposed to be home on Tuesday, but said they may be stranded for days before they can get home. The political situation in Thailand is getting worse daily, and if violence erupts could plunge the country into civil war.
Please keep the prayers coming.
