OMGoodness! I'm been so out of touch lately.
I hope Nella is okay. I'm going to try to call Gae now.
They are still waiting to hear if the Neurologist will take Nella on as a patient or not. Gae's cell was dying so she just headed out to her vehicle to plug it in.
Please continue to keep Nella in your thoughts and prayers. The best case scenerio that we can hope for is that this was all brought on by low blood sugar and she will just need to be more careful about keeping herself nourished and her blood sugar level up.
Glad it is looking less serious, Gae. Now we will just keep praying that blood sugar issues get fixed and that the child gets out of pain quickly. Praying hard for you and your family.
Special thanks to all who can and do update those of us who are less in the loop.
My prayers and pixie dust goes out to her and the family. I was so shocked to read this. Best wishes and thoughts.
Keeping you and your family in my prayers:grouphug:

Copious amounts (Sorry... Just tryin' to lighten' it up a bit...!) of P&PD to your DD and y'all, Gae. Sure its nothin' serious, but whatever it is, she'll kick it's rear... After all, she is YOUR DD...!!!
Good News!!!!!!
They are releasing us tonight and we can go home. Tomorrow we can go to our pediatrician and he can do the EEG that Dallas requires. The doctors feel fairly confident that DD's blood sugar got too low and that caused the seizure. She only had a poptart and a fruit rollup to eat the day of the accident.
So we don't have to be transported (yeah!) and we can get the tests done here. We will have to still wait and see but they feel it is safe enough for us to do from our own home.
Thank you all for the prayers! We aren't totally out of the woods but it looks like the danger aspect is over.
That is great news Gae! I bet Nella is so relieved that she gets to go home! I hope that your pediatrician is able to give you some answers tomorrow. Be sure to keep us posted.
I bet her Brothers will be super nice to her tonight! Play it for all it's worth Nella! ;)
Its great to hear that your DD is doing better and that she is getting released tonight!
Hope #1 is feeling better
