Oh I am so sorry.

But please don't do the guilt of no chemo.

I've had clients that were talked into Chemo with their pups at weak moments of love. Most had reactions like humans, some got down right vicious. Pups don't know what is happening to them or why you are taking them there.

It is difficult but enjoy the remaining time with the pup you know and love.

Lean on us when you need too.

I just stumbled on this thread and feel heartbroken about your story. I am so sorry for your family. I have a little 1 1/2 year shih tzu that I love and can't imagine this happening to her. I completely understand how pets become your family. Keep posting, because we are still here with prayers.

I just wanted to Thank everyone who has kept my female lab in their thoughts and prayers - with a very sad and heavy heart - we had to put her down today. It was time to say good-bye

So sorry to hear about your doggie...I've gone through this twice. Just remember fondly all the memories with her. Don't know if this has been posted on here, or if you've seen it before, but this is something my dad printed and had framed when our beloved Great Dane had to be put down...I hope it helps with healing
