P&PD for My Family

I just found out earlier this evening that my great-grandmother, who was 98, passed away. She had been pretty sick for a while, and the last couple weeks she took a turn for the worst. The Drs. gave her 2-3 days to live and she lived for 8.

I know that I've been dormant on here for a while as I've been packing to get ready to go back to college. The plan is that my family is still leaving for Raleigh 5am tomorrow...because it's about the only option I have. I will keep you guys posted.

I know how you feel...my grandmother died one day shy of her 90th birthday a few years ago. I really miss her so I can relate to what your going through. I firmly believe my grandma is in a better place and hopefully you feel that way as well.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Really means a lot. I'm back at NC State, all moved in and ready for the semester to start.

Always nice when you can stick it to the doctor that way, even if only for one more week. RIP, great grandma. At 98, that was one heck of a life. Imagine all she saw over the course of nearly a century.

I would only imagine...and over the course of the last century, there was a lot to see...not to mention the size of family that evolved over that time. Thanks for your thoughts, Mike.
