too bad the drugs they have given me s uck!

but I am surviving. going to an orthopedic surgeon on Monday - wish me luck. leaving work early to pick up my own x-rays today...:dizzy:

Thanks everyone. Going for an MRI first thing in the morning. Finally someone listened to me...hoping this leads to a resolution and maybe an end to my pain.http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com/for.../rolleyes4.gif

MRI went ok this morning, but I just got a call and they are sending me back for another one with "contrast" - whatever that means....tomorrow afternoon.

Getting really tired of all this...:cry:

FYI, an MRI "with contrast" means that they inject you with a special type of "dye" (known as Gadolinium) that will allow certain vital areas (e.g. blood vessels) to be more easily recognizable on the studies. There are no side effects normally to the gado, so don't worry.

Had my second MRI yesterday afternoon. The radiologist is not supposed to tell me anything, but she did say that I have a good reason to be in pain. Well, thanks, glad I didn't make all this up!:dizzy:
