I'm sorry to hear this but, now you know why you are in such pain. Good luck with the neurosurgeon next week, maybe he can give you some better pain control.

Neurosurgeon has told me I need surgery. Getting a 2nd opinion, but I am pretty upset about this today....
At home right now and heading to work as soon as I redo my makeup.

2nd opinion this morning - he also says surgery, but would like to try physical therapy and pain manangement first....

Looks like I may go best 2 of 3, as I am scheduling to see a 3rd doctor. My parents are kinda trying to sway me to having the surgery. The PT wont fix or correct the disc, and they think I should do that now while I am employed and have insurance. I wanted to thank them for reminding me how unstable my job is on top of all this.
So, some conversations with other patients, another doctor, and then we will see what I need to do.
