Prayers and Pixie Dust needed my nana's way!

I just received a call from my mom and it isnt too good of news.. My grandmother has turned for the worse. She is having severe chest pains, so now they have her on a morphine drip because they are waiting for my mom to arrive to see what the other options are. This is a hard thing to write as you can expect. I appreciate all your love and support from everyone! You are all great. Hello all, Just wanted to give you an update.. I did not end up going home this weekend. I prayed and prayed about what to do and I decided to go home at another time. I have been talkting to my grandmother everyday and my mom said she kinda had a rough night last night but she is sounding MUCH better. That is making me very happy. She asked me the other night to have a shot of Brandy for her so what did I do that night? Had a nice glass of Brandy with the bf. Tonight we are having some beer for her.. Since tomorrow is her favorite holiday! So make sure all of you have a beer or Brandy for my nana! I will keep you all posted on her.. She has been forgetting somethings lately and today she wasnt fully sure who I was. But then she remembered. I am sure the morphine and other meds are keeping her a little out of it! But thank you all so much for your love and support!!

Stac, I am glad to read some good news in here. Although I am not a drinker, I will tip back a nice frosty rootbeer in her honor. I hope that she continues to improve and that you get to go see her soon. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers....
