Hey do the Disney Vacation Club rooms have more then 1 bathroom and if not. What hotels have rooms with more then 1 bathroom
DVC rooms and bathrooms are as follows:
Studio - 1 standard bathroom
1 Bedroom - 1 divided bathroom. In one room you have the shower stall, sink, and toilet. In the other room, you have the jacuzzi tub and larger sink/vanity. The room with the jacuzzi tub has shutters that can be opened or closed. I like to leave them open so I can watch tv from the tub.
2 Bedrooms - 1 standard bathroom & 1 divided bathroom. Many of the 2 bedrooms units are essentially connecting 1 bedroom and studio units. There are some dedicated 2 bedrooms, but I haven't stayed in one like that yet.
Grand Villa (3 bedrooms) - 2 standard bathrooms & 1 divided bathroom. Many grand villas are 2 story units. I haven't stayed in one of these yet...there aren't that many of them at the BoardWalk.
All the divided bathrooms are attached to the master bedroom.
hmmm are there any rooms on property that have to showers???
THANKS!!!! lol
so it would literally be cheaper to buy 2 standard rooms at the All Stars then to buy one two bedroom DVC room...
2bs and grand villas have 2 and 3 bathrooms respectively
If you are looking to just save money, then You should just do the 2 rooms at the allstars resorts. If You have an annual pass, you can save even more of the cost, up to 3 rooms per pass.
The amenities at a DVC are better than at a value resort, of course. The studio bathroom is pretty big too. If your looking to save money, do a value resort. How much time do you think you'll be at the hotel?
This is so true! We just returned from 5 nights at Saratoga Springs and We decided to spend more time at the hotel. Well, if We had spent it at a value, We may have been a little couped up. The extra space made it feel more like a home. Even in the studio, We loved having a couch in the room instead of having to sit on the beds or the small chairs that You get with the value resorts.
We have been DVC members for 10 years but have always used either a Studio or a 1 bedroom.
We just made reservations for a two bedroom because DD is bringing 3 friends along for her 16th birthday. We were told we would have a one bedroom with a connecting studio. This will give us the one large bathroom in the studio plus the combination bath in the one bedroom.
The different DVC properties do not have the same size rooms. Old Key West has rooms that are significantly larger than the other DVC properties. The one bedroom at OKW is like a condo. Our kids do not like to share the couch in the living room any longer, so we bring a queen size aerobed for our daughter. There is enough room on the floor of the living room of the one bedroom for the open pull out couch plus the aerobed with plenty of room to walk around.
If you're looking to strictly save money, book two Value rooms. If you're looking for a lot more space and more amenities, than go with DVC rooms.
If you do go for the value rooms, make sure to ask for adjoining rooms... most of the time this is not a problem and you can leave the doors between them open, or not.
Actually, you need to tell them you want connecting rooms rather than adjoining rooms. If you aske for adjoining rooms, they will often give you a room next to yours but divided by a hallway. Therefore, you will not have the door connecting access to the other room.
