    Special Windows

In looking through some of your galleries out there I saw a bunch of shots from Pop Century where the staff has created special window treatments using Disney toys. They are SO cute!

#1 - Do they only do this at PC or do the staff at the other All Star resorts do this as well?

#2 - The toys are things that they found in your room when they came to clean right (i.e. they didn't provide them)?

We've had it done at all of the Disney resorts we've stayed at. It just depends on your Mousekeeper. We like to make special tip envelopes for our Mousekeeper before we leave home and leave them special little notes. We seem to get extra special attention when we do things like that. Usually the toys are ours that we've boughten and have left in the room, but we have received a few special stuffed animals before left behind by management or Mousekeeping as well!

Ok so what you're saying is... tip well... leave cute little notes... and anything is possible. Got it!

Both, actually. If there are stuffed animals laying around your room, Mousekeeping may arrange them differently as they clean up. And they also sometimes give you towel creations, that definately are not things you brought with you. By the time we left from our 9-night stay, we had a veritable towel zoo!

Best bet is to leave your stuffed animals thrown onto your unmade bed! I have a photo of all our's watching tv with the remote by them and of course the tv was on and tuned into the Disney information channel!

And when we stayed at Pop Century in June 2005 our Mousekeeper literally came to find us as we were leaving to give us an extra special birthday towel creation she had made for our Son. It brought tears to my eyes!

I was shocked when we walked in the room that night! Everything was given to us from them except for the Pluto. Sad thing is that Parker was asleep when we walked in the door...hence the photo!

It also never hurts to ask! By the phone in your room will be a pen and notepad. Along with our daily tip, we left a note the first day saying something like "Thank you! P.S. We love towel animals!", and we got one about every other day. Here's a picture of what we had after about the 5th or 6th night:

(beware, the picture is huge (2Mb, 3072x2304 pixels))

    Good luck!

Melissa - I can't view your pictures from here (at work) so I'll check 'em out when I get home. Paul - great shot of the towel animals! I'll definitely make sure to, for lack of a better way of putting it, kiss up to my Mousekeepers.
