    Best Place ever!

Have camped there for many years, and love it. Have mostly stayed in loop 1500-Cottontail Curl... it is the best place i think, right near one of the pools and new Meadow Trading Post... right near a bus stop, near the golf cart rentals.... It is the perfect place i think... so if you are camping... request loop 1500!!

We camped there several years ago (during a hurricane) and had a GREAT time. There is so much to do in the campground itself that it is a destination within itself. If you have a camper you can beat the price, especially if you have a larger family.

I highly recommend the Fort Wilderness Cabins!

what is the best location for a Cabin in Fort Wilderness?
    My mother is going w us(husband, 3 kids 12, 5, 2 1/2)
Was thinking it would be great to be close to a bus stop, so that she wouldn't have so far to walk and a shower station so that the kids could shower with out tying up the bathroom all night.
    Any ideas?

I enjoy camping with the family and we do it quite a bit every year but I wouldn't do it in Disney because it reminds me of being back home in South Jersey and I'm trying to get away from that when I'm in Florida.

We stayed in one of the cabins years ago. It was soooo much fun!! We LOVED it. The nicest campground I have visited. We aren't "campers" so we don't go often but we still go over to enjoy the campfire sing-a-long. I hope they still do that.......

Stayed in the cabins one year. It was probably one of our BEST stays! We didn't realize that there was maid service. Came back and all the dishes were in the dishwasher and clean!

The beach was wonderful. Kids enjoyed taking the boat! Of course, this was probably 20 years ago.... but even then it was wonderful. I'm not a camper - so staying in the cabins was like camping without being camping!

Lot of things to do there - at least there was - so there is probably a LOT more.... kids love it!

Wouldn't mind going back to the cabins AGAIN!
