We have stayed at the POLY 6 times and the Grand Floridian once for a 2 night stay.
If I could, I would stay at the POLY during every trip to WDW.

My first trip down we stayed at POFQ. This trip in May we're staying offsite at Caribe Royal and i'm a lil worried with the whole bus deal

I've stayed at the Contemporary (numerous), Polynesian (but I was maybe 11 in 1990) and the Grand Floridian (numerous) for MK hotels. When I was little my dad would only stay in hotels on the monorail line. He thought it made the whole thing more tolerable...that and they sold drinks at Epcot. He was so awesome; he took me and my brother (with mom of course!) every year even though he hates stuff that's "cute."

Now, I'm an Epcot girl, so I've probably stayed at the Dolphin and Swan 20 times (about 3 times a year for the last 8 years, intermixed with Yacht and Beach Club, Contemporary and even the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress a time or two). They are my favorites because I can get and use my Starwood points!

I've also stayed at the Portofino Bay a couple of times too. Its really nice.

We've never stayed at a MK resort before. When I went the first time there weren't but a few hotels on site. I do remember being amazed when the monorail went through the Contemporary.

This year we are staying at the WL. I'd like to stay at the Poly one time. DH wants to stay at AKL.

I have stayed at both the Poly and the Contemporary. Of the two, I prefer the Poly. My favorite is the Boardwalk. In 2 weeks, I am staying 2 days at the Poly follwed by 7 at the Boardwalk. Yeah!

I have stayed at the Contemporary and GF. Last trip we tried Wilderness Lodge. What a beautiful place that was! I think it is my favorite. I have also stayed at POR, All Star Music, All Star Movies, and Pop Century. We will be trying POFQ in about 3 weeks.

stayed at a few that you mentioned and they are cool
