our family did stayed in the 60's!![]()
I believe in some cases it is DEFINITELY worth paying for the Preferred view at Pop. We were in the 90's building last time we visited. My daughter LOVES to use her refillable mugs to get the Slushies. After a long day in the park, I hated to make that long walk from the 90s the the food court for the kids to get a Slushy. I really like the 50s or 60s, but I enjoy being in the middle of everything. The noise has never bothered me.
we've stayed in the 50s and 60s. i think those are the preferred rooms.

We love Pop. My favorite is to request 4th Floor Epcot View. I love watching the fireworks from our hotel room at night. My youngest daughter also prefers the bowling pin pool to the others.
We stayed in the 70s building right near the big Mickey phone and it was great! We were on the 3rd floor overlooking hourglass lake so there wasn't much noise. And we thought that it was fairly close to the foot court which was nice cuz after we had breakfast, we would refill our mugs and I'd run them back to our room because we knew it would be after midnight when we got back, but it wasn't a huge distance to go and we were able to do that. We really liked it.
I do have a question, though. We're going back in May and had to book a preferred room...what exactly is a preferred room at Pop Century?
