We are going to Disney tomorrow to meet my cousins. We are staying at the Dolphin and they are staying at Caribbean Beach in the Pirates rooms. When we get back, I'll post all the details here.
I was just wondering if anyone has stayed in the Pirate themed rooms? If so what building are they in and your general opinion of them? We are staying there in June and I was just wondering what to expect.

Mouse Extra Blog Archive Concepts for Pirates theme at some Caribbean Beach Resort rooms
We have a pirate room reserved for our upcoming trip, just 23 short days away!!!! I'll let you know.
Did anyone ever follow up on this thread? I'm also interested in the pirate rooms for our upcoming Disney World stay.
Oh I'm interested in a follow up as well. I'm not sure quite yet where we are staying but CBR is on the top of the list as far as resorts go. I want to try something different as we have stayed in Pop and ASMovies the last two trips (was not a fan of ASMo).
If anyone has reviews/photos I'd appreciate it!
just got back from staying at a pirate room here. we were in the trinidad south building. this was my favorite hotel room i've ever stayed in! although the beds were a little on the shorter side, everything else was great
I loved the theming at CBR. The Nemo rooms really don't look a whole lot different than they did before. The bedspread is in the same colors but different designs.
I am reserving judgment on the pirate rooms. I am not into Pirates. I loved that it felt like you are on a tropical island. Maybe now I have to believe I washed up on the shore at CBR and created my room. Thanks
Regards,
When I stayed in a Pirate Room it was in the Trinidad South village. It was about a ten minute walk from there to Port Royale. If this is acceptable to you, then I would say go for a Pirate room. They are very cute and I know you're children will enjoy them more than a standard room.
CBR has six villages. Each village (except for one) has six numbered buildings.
One village is Trinidad South, and this is the home of the Pirate rooms. All 384 rooms in this village are Pirate rooms, and there are no Pirate rooms in any other village. The other thing that makes this village distinct is that is is the farthest away from Old Port Royale, the complex that has the food court, restaurant, main pool, shops, etc.
