Although we absolutely love Animal Kingdom and the opportunity to go on the Sunrise Safari, we have become spoiled by the convenience of the Beach Club and it's proximity to Epcot and the Studios.

Re: Poll favorite Deluxe--Mod--Value--Off Site
I voted moderate, simply because its price is good, but you still have sit down dining, nice pools, and good amenities. I absolutely adore Coronado Springs. Stayed there a number of times and it is my favorite of any of the resorts. Deluxe is wonderful, but out of my price range most of the time. My family and I stayed at Pop a bunch of times, so I love it there as well, definitely best out of the Value resorts. I stayed off property only one time, but I hated it. Like others have said, if I can't afford to stay on property I won't go.
My name is Emily and I am addicted to Walt Disney World. There, I said it and I'm proud.
Louis Mongello, you are my hero! Moving to St. Petersburg, FL in November!!!
I will be at WDW every two weeks then... I can't wait!

Re: Poll favorite Deluxe--Mod--Value--Off Site
Never stayed onsite. The way we see it the hotel is just our place to sleep at night we're not going to spend alot of time there so why pay more for a room when we can spend that money on shopping for clothes or disney stuff

Re: Poll favorite Deluxe--Mod--Value--Off Site
Have never stayed at a Deluxe, so out of the other options my choice would be Moderates - particularly Port Orleans.

Re: Poll favorite Deluxe--Mod--Value--Off Site
While of course I'd love to be able to stay in Deluxe accomodations like the Contemporary etc., I actually voted for Value. The reason is because, even with the funds to stay at Deluxe, my son absolutely loves the larger than life characters and theming of the value resorts so it's where we prefer to stay!
Sometimes all you need is a reminder that out there lies a better place... a better world... a Walt Disney World.

In my humble opinion, I would not want to saty off property if all I came to do was go to the Disney parks. You can use all of the transportation to get around for free. You never have to rent a car. It might make more sense if you were only coming to Disney for 1 day out of say 7 days.

We've stayed at few Disney Resorts and my favourite is definitely the Poly, however, we would never be able to afford to do a whole vacation in that one hotel. We've just booked a night here or a couple of a nights there. Out of the values, I would pick Pop Century or All Star Music and out of the moderates, my favourite is Port Orleans Riverside.

This is the reason we always stay at the value resorts. You should try Pop and then you can use all the Disney transportation etc.

Re: Poll favorite Deluxe--Mod--Value--Off Site
Since we decide to go to WDW every year rather than every other we stick w/ the Mods.
Our favorite is Port Orleans French Quarter we love the boat to DTD, the pool, the food court and the Thurs-Sat night entertainment in the bar.

Re: Poll favorite Deluxe--Mod--Value--Off Site
I've only stayed at the value resorts, but am really debating a moderate or deluxe next time. I just keep thinking of all the food and souvenirs I can buy with the savings. I keep going back and forth because I want a new experience, too! What's a girl to do?

For our money the Moderates are the best. Particularly Port Orleans French Quarter. We love that place. I wish I was there right now!
