Old Key West or Saratoga Springs

Hi all,

Quick question. Myself and my family are planning a trip to WDW in late September, early October for two weeks from the UK. We're looking at staying at either Old Key West or Saratoga Springs, can anyone recommend a resort?

I love them both a lot. Saratoga in my opinion is a little bit better then Old Key West. Mostly because it is my family "home" resort.

OKW if you have kids. Rooms bigger. I stayed at Saratoga twice in the last year (last time less than a month ago)and of course loved it. I also stayed at OKW in January and loved it too. We are staying at OKW in October too. Either one is good. Saratoga has a killer gym in it. Don't know what games for kids there. OKW to me has more kids atmosphere and a place kids can play video games and such. Also has a good sauna in the light house. Has a small gym but you can resort hop for the other gym. Also you can buy hamburgers and such right outside the community hall.

I am a bit partial to Old Key West. It is more centrally located to the parks. I also like the feel that you are "away from it all," yet close to everything.

Fantastic! As we're not going with any kids (I'm the youngest at 25) I think Saratoga sounds the better bet. The gym, sauna, etc. sound great too!

I think they are both great. My home resort is Saratoga Springs. I have stated at both. I prefer OKW because its tropical. SSR looks alot like my home here in Connecticut. When you stay at SSR you can take the ferry boat that is coming from Downtown Disney up to OKW and take a look around.
