Doin' The Beach Club

We're doing the Beach Club next year in May. I stayed at Boardwalk this year and we really liked it. There were always enough poolside chairs for lounging. I've heard that Stormalong Bay fills up pretty quickly and it can be hard to get a chair. True or false? Also, I know they control access to the pool unlike other resort pools. How do they do it? By bracelet or keycard?

Re: Doin' The Beach Club

I stayed at the Boardwalk in March, 07. It was our first stay there and it was our best visit ever! It is truly best and every time when we stayed somewhere else we missed the Boardwalk. I don't know about poolside chairs exactly, but I think you can easily get them.

Best Regards,

Re: Doin' The Beach Club

Getting a chair right by certain sections of the pool can be hard, but I have never had problems finding an empty chair at BC. (ANd of course if the only thing on the chair is a white Disney towel, then you can assume it's been abandoned)

Each guest MUST show a room card to use the pool. You will then be given an armband for the rest of the day. I have seen them send poeple back to the room for their keys!

Cool Re: Doin' The Beach Club

The chairs dont really fill up fast, and it is the most fun pool on property.

Re: Doin' The Beach Club

We've stayed there the past 2 Julys and walked around the pool forever looking for 2 chairs. Even though the pool is great, for me, it's just not worth it.
