| Staying at the Regal Sun - what to expect? I just booked a trip for October at the Regal Sun. I have never stayed off property before, so I have no clue what to expect. They say that their shuttle runs every 30 minutes to the parks, is this usually accurate? Also, how close is it to Downtown Disney, like within walking distance? Do they have a bus that goes back and forth and how often? Also, what would be the quickest way to get from the Regal Sun to the Boardwalk? Any help/advise is greatly appreciated. |

| Re: Staying at the Regal Sun - what to expect? Actually for the money it isn't bad, much better quality than the Value resorts, you just fore-go the EMH's. The buses run well going to the parks. You stop at all those in that hotel row except the Hilton. We stayed at the Hilton when it shared those buses and we took a bus for the return trip to the nearest Disney hotel and then transferred to a Disney DTD bus to return to our hotel. If you go to a hotel with a ferry to DTD it is an "extra" treat. ![]() |
