Wilderness Lodge
Hello, I have a question about Wilderness Lodge. Does anyone know if all the rooms come with refrigerators, or do you have to order them?
Also, do any of the rooms come with DVD players? I was planning on bringing my own but if rooms already have them, there would be no need. Also does anyone know if Disney “discourages” people from hooking up their own DVD players to the room TVs? I’m not sure how they would do that, maybe by gluing the cables to the TVs?
Thanks,
Rick

Re: Wilderness Lodge
All moderate and deluxe resorts come with a mini fridge.
As for the DVD player, I'm not sure. I've only stayed there once and it was quite a few years ago before they refurbed the rooms.

Re: Wilderness Lodge
Thanks for the answers Flrancho and wdwfns2. I'll bring my DVD player to be safe. I'm glad to hear they have a fridge, it will be used.

Re: Wilderness Lodge
Here is what I remember seeing when we stayed & double checked with my DVC friends. Plus double checked the site:
* Alarm Clock with CD Player (available in all Club Level Guest rooms)
* Coffee Maker
* DVD Player (available in all Club Level Guest rooms)
* Hairdryer
* High-speed Internet access (for an additional fee)
* Iron and Ironing Board
* Pack 'n Play Playards
* Refrigerator
* Safe
* Satellite TV, includes Disney Programming
Hope this helps you.

Re: Wilderness Lodge
alalune042, I just got back. I had a great time with a great room. It overlooked a pond/swamp area. I know that does not sound that nice, but it was very relaxing.

So did it have a DVD player?? I'm hopefully going in November, it seems like for a deluxe room it should be standard.

Re: Wilderness Lodge
GIOny, no it did not have a DVD player. The TV did have connections for a DVD player if I had one with me (I decided not to bring one). I guess I did not know what they meant by "Club Level". Is this another word for concierge?

Re: Wilderness Lodge
Yes! I agree that the all moderate and deluxe resorts come with a mini fridge and it work very well however sometime we face the DVD player problem, it doesn’t work well. Now we always bring our own DVD player.
Best Regards,

Re: Wilderness Lodge
You can rent them, too, I believe. Though it's probably easier to carry down a smaller portable one. Otherwise, you can hook up your computer to the TV and play movies through there. That's what I usually do.
Really, Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.

Yes, I believe club level is the same as concierge. Sorry to be a complainer but a deluxe resort at those prices it just seems like they should thow in a DVD player. Most times on our drive down to WDW we stop at chain hotels and usually always get a fridge/microwave and many times a DVD player
. But I do have a small one that I will now bring with me, thanks for the info

Re: Wilderness Lodge
We don't usually use a DVD player when we're on vacation anyway, but did you say you could hook one up to the tv if you brought one along? (Plus you can usually pick a cheap one up for $30 or $40 anyway, probably deliverable to your room with your groceries!)
