what about ferrets and turtles?...lol
So the new Pet Center at WDW opened at the end of last week. I had seen a post commenting on Disney's boarding charges being comparible to the going rate in a thread about the luxury homes being build at WDW.
Well being in the Dog business myself I thought I'd compare the old rates to the new rates at WDW to board our favorite little critters.

The kennel I use has indoor outdoor private runs. They can be in their kennel or go through the doggy door outside. Each dog has their own attached.
Some kennels move dogs to shared outside runs. Too gross and germy for my liking.

Yes, I heard this news on several websites. I’m unhappy that it will be open late summer and now, really excited to stay there first. It looks like a wonderful place that has quality services and price reasonable too, as compare to other Disney’s kennel.
Best Regards,
They will close the other kennels then only this one
From All Ears Hears:
... from Amy J.: I called Best Friends Pet Care to inquire about boarding my dog for an upcoming trip (first weekend of the Food and Wine Festival!) I asked if they offer a discount for Annual Passholders. The person I spoke with said "no, we only offer a DVC discount because all Passholders are DVC members". I mentioned that not all Passholders are DVC members, and she said "since we have taken over the kennels, we have only offered a DVC discount and we don't plan on changing that."
My editorial comment is, you can already tell it is no longer Disney when you get stupid answers like all AP holders are DVC and we don't plan on changing that!
i found this video.. i think i see a fish on a shelf.. who takes their fish to the sitter?

The animals live better there than I do at home

From the pictures and videos I've seen, it looks pretty nice. I'll probably never leave my dogs there. One of the pictures I saw looks like in the water play area there is about a 4 foot chain link fence to secure the area. My dogs are escape artists and know how to open gates and can jump six feet from a stand still.
I plan on trying to go there once though and ask if I can tour the facility. Maybe the picture was just deceiving.
And what about my horse?
Fictitious though he is still
How much?

When I went to Disney for the first time there was a Magic I felt. I could do anything or be anything. No feeling would ever top this......
Then I took my daughter.
