Sheraton Safari - Should I cancel?

Hi all Im in need of your assistance...

We are due to go to WDW and stay at the Sheraton Safari on April 17th for our honeymoon... our travel provider (Virgin) has it listed as a 4V so comparable to a Disney moderate/delux. However the reviews I have been reading on Trip Advisor are very very bad, claiming the rooms to be dirty, outdated and guests should avoid staying there.

My fiance and I are in the UK and he had stayed at the Sheraton a few years ago so we thought we would give it a go, having been Swan and Dolphin during last trip and their rates where a further $875 but now Im wondering should I change to another Lake Buena Vista hotel... if so which?

Try picking up a copy of the Unoffical Guide and check out their hotel reviews. Not knowing exactly what you like, that might help you pick out what you like.

What was your decision?
I keep looking if there is a room discount at a Disney resort but not until a later date. I did find a coupon you can use at the counter service restaurants when you are there. You have to go on disneyworld.com click on specials offers and scroll down to food and beverage and hit the link to get the coupon. This is what the coupon says on it.

We spoke to holiday rep regarding accomodation and he hadnt heard of any problems at our resorts. So booking is existing but we may be able to move if we dont like the hotel so thats good news.
So hope to get there and it will be fabulous!

Ok im here at the Sheraton and am pleasantly surprised... the room is clean and the location is pretty good.. no more than 20 mins to any Disney resort and I can take advantage of different places to eat rather than just relying on disney... im sorry but nothing beats dunkin donuts for a coffee in the morning!
Another plus is that from walking from my room to the car takes less than 5 mins... at the Dolphin it took 15 minutes!
So yeah I would recommend it as a place to have as a basic base.

Glad it turned out to be a good place to stay. Hope your Honeymoon has been fabulous. You will have to post a trip report soon. I heard you at the end of Lou's podcast this week. Safe travels back to the UK.
