King Bed
Quick question...
DF and I are planning on getting married in WDW with the Memories Collection and then staying there for our honeymoon too. So, of course, it's kind of important to us that we are able to have a room with a king bed (not two queens).
I see that if I were to book online for POFQ, they charge extra to request a room with a king bed. So if they are charging for the bed, does that mean it's guaranteed? Or could I actually arrive and find that they have no king beds available even though I paid extra for it?

Re: King Bed
If you pay extra you should get what you reserve I would think. That being said, I would not do online reservations but call and speak with Disney diretly so you can hear it for yourself if it is "guaranteed" of if "they will try their best". I would also mention it is your honeymoon so they will make an extra effort to get you in the room you want.
FYI, one bedroom villas at any DVC resort have king beds.

Re: King Bed
I would go through your wedding planner as they are there to help you with things like this! Good luck! Congrats!

Re: King Bed
I went for my Honeymoon and had it put on our vacation planner that it was. When we got to the hotel (Coronado Springs) they asked if we would like a king size and they upgraded us for free.
I wouldn't plan on this but if you speak to Disney or the resort directly they really will try their best. If you've paid fior the king size bed then it would be reserved for you.
Congratulations!!
