luggage hold

I'm getting ready to go down to the world for a little over a week. I should be arriving at the hotel around noon, but check-in is not til 3pm. Can I leave my luggage at the resort until it is time for me to check in? If possible, I would like to drop off my luggage and head to dtd for a bit. If so, how much does this service cost / how much do you usually tip? Thanks a lot for the help!

Yes they will hold your luggage for you. You can check in but can't go to the room until it is ready. I believe Disney will call or text you when the room is done.

It's rare that our room isn't ready when we check-in. However, if it's not ready when you arrive, the resort will hold your bags and give you a claim tag . . . which you really don't need, but just in case. You can go to DTD and call the resort later to see if your room is ready.

We usually only have one item that needs to be delivered to our room and we give Bell Services about $5.

we are checking our bags so other than just what we take on the plane is all we will have with us.. we get to orlando at 10:30 so like 11:30 to noon we will be checking in
