Which DVC Resort - Renting DVC Points for first time

My husband and I are planning our 3rd trip to WDW and are looking to rent DVC points this year. We have never done this before. Our previous trips we stayed at All Star Music and Pop Century. We are looking at the second week of December for our visit so we are looking forward to everything being decorated for Christmas. Which DVC resort do you recommend? Best overall? Best holiday decorations? Any advice on this would be appreciated. Any tips on renting the DVC points are welcome as well.

Although I've never stayed there, I would stay at the Wilderness Lodge that time of year. I've rented points privately from a DVC member a few times. Have never had a problem. And you get a great resort at a big discount compared to going through Disney.

Im a huge fan of the Boardwalk villas, personally. That's my parents' home resort, so we've stayed there a bunch of times. Its in one of the greatest locations on property, walking distance to both Epcot and DHS (or you can take a boat). They also decorate it really nice for Christmas, if that interests you. So that's my recommendation!

For Christmas, I would ONLY stay at Wilderness Lodge. That is my DVC home resort and I can't find another hotel that compares when it comes to decorations or background holiday music.

I can't think of a bad choice actually. Wilderness Lodge is the obvious choice, but Jambo House and Beach Club are awesome at Christmas as well.
