Family in need of resort advice!

My family is going to Disney in summer of 2015. We will have 4 adults, teens, and a 2 year old. Right now I'm trying to decide if we should do a suite at one of the value/moderate resorts or just do two rooms at a moderate. Could use some advice, especially if you have gone in a similar situation. Of course my dream would be the Boardwalk 2 bedroom villa....but I don't think the parents/grandparents are going to spring for that
    I'm the only one!!!!

    How many teens?

My suggestion is send off all of your details to an agent at MEI/MouseFan Travel. They are very helpful and can provide you with all the answers. I can personally recommend Coleen.

I forgot to put 2 teens. That sounds good. I have planned 4 trips before and have never heard of MEI Mousefan. Is it run by Disney?

It is run by one of this sites sponsors. The owner also helps Lou out in the podcast when he does listener e-mails.

Tiggerguy is correct, they are a site sponsor and they are also experts in Disney bookings. And doggone it, they are just great people!

MEI/Mousefan Travel is a travel agency. They are paid by Disney to assist you with booking your vacation. Their services cost you absolutely nothing. Once you use them you will never go back to trying to book your trip all alone. It's nice to free yourself from the stress of staying on the phone talking to WDW Reservations. But you can still stay as involved as you want. You can send off all your info and even dining reservation requests and let the agent do his/her thing or keep in communication with your agent to work together.

By the way, where in Ohio are you from? Southwest area of the Buckeye State here!

Sounds great. Is it free to get quotes of several different scenarios? They will do all that work even if I don't book through them?

Sure. They will send along a quote page with the resort(s) listed at no charge. They will also place a no obligation hold on the rooms for you if you like.

Trust me, once you get the quote you are going to want to use them.
