Grad Night @ the Pop

i wanted to take my gf to wdw for her bday on April 29 so we booked Pop for the 27th-the 30th. turns out this is a grad night weekend. someone mentioned that there were alot of horrid unchaperoned kids running around , has anyone else stayed during gradnight?

When I went to grad night(almost 20 years ago) the parks closed early and we went in and stayed at the park almost all night. We were not allowed to leave the park and wonder around Disney. This was a long time ago and things may have changed since then, I would check the operation hours for the days you are there, parks closing early are probably a bigger concern during grad night than groups of unchaperoned high school seniors.

im more worried about not being able to sleep at the hotel than kids in the parks.

It won't be that bad. I've stayed around Grad-Night and I've had friends stay, and they say hotels are never that bad. it will be a bit more crowded during the day in the parks, but noise will be pretty good at night. Not a lot of grad's actually stay over-night since most of them are from FL. I know a lot of them end up driving home and just going home, so it won't be as bad as you think at least from my experience!

So is that why MK closes early on the 29th?! See my BF and I will be celebrating 3 years of fighting ( ) with him and we plan on a all day Disney trip. We live here in Orlando and have annual passes. We had wanted to stay at a resort the night before although it may not happen since we don't really have the 100+ dollars. Anyways so is that why MK closes early?

Well we live in Orlando so we can just drive from home to Disney but we had considered checking into one of the Value resorts Friday evening and do Downtown Disney and Epcot on Sat. But seeing as how being a college student takes aloooooot of money and it's not gonna be the value season by then I think we're just going to wake up early. Lol.

Well there is grad night at Disneyland as well and to my understanding they only let the seniors in on grad night but none usually sleep at the hotel because its a school trip
