New here :)
Hi everyone, I'm new to these message boards. I love everything disney and am planning to go either end of February or beginning of March for my birthday. I have only ever been before in the summer time when its brutally hot so I'm not sure what to expect. Also I'm looking for a more in depth visit like searching for secrets and things like that as well as riding rides and seeing shows of course. I loved the "best secrects" thread. Great info there but i was just wondering if anyone has any info on weather averages, other secrets, or must do rides or shows. I'm also going to be bringing my younger brother and sister whom are 3 years and 6 months old wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make theirs and our experiences better. Thanks so much!

Hi Princess, to DWT, the weather should be comfortable in the end of Feb/early March, but bring a jacket for nighttime. As far as secrets go, pick up a copy of Lou's book, it has so much info in there in a fun question and answer format (lots of secrets, history, and facts). Here is some weather info that may help http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/weather.htm, have a great time and Have a Happy Birthday!

I highly suggest picking up "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World". It is a fantastic book which will give you all the info you need, including all the weather info you are seeking. Hope you have a fun trip!

Welcome to the boards Princesscorrie!!
If you just do some searching here on DWT, I think you'll find a lot of answers to questions. If you think of anything specific, we can all do our best to help you out
DEFINITELY prepare for warm and cold in February. Us FL natives can't seem to tell right now if it will be definitively cold or warm through to April. Also prepare for some crowds, though not as bad as the summer. Certain times throughout February are notably more crowded than others due to winter recess breaks. Have a great time!

I think that's how a lot of people who live in southern or tropical states think is cold (hey, I used to live in the south and I probably had that same thought until I moved to VA and then to WA). 60 degrees in WA is warm! But 60 degrees in FL would be cool, not cold. Try living in Bellingham! It's snowing and the temperature is what, 25 degrees as of now? But feels like it's 17 degrees? I wouldn't be complaining. But a warm welcome to our newcomer!!!!
