If the familys that stay in the castle come out at night, can they go on any rides?

It would also be really cool to be in the castle during the fireworks!

It would be neat to be able to walk the park when it is completely empty.

According to the CM's at MK that I have asked....No. Something about legal mumbo jumbo, and that while WDW knows they could make tons of money from doing that..... they feel it would take away from the whole "contest", if people knew they could just buy their way in when the YOaMD was over. Also, if they were to rent it out, I'm sure it'd be in the high thousands of dollars per night, and not too many people can afford that, realistically- this way (the contest) EVERYONE has a fair shot.

I wish I could win a night at the castle...and see out the windows...but you can't! I would like to win it just when they're starting to put up Christmas decorations.

Hey guys, castle update. In WDW now actualy. If you are selected to stay in the castle you or your children will be personally escorted directly onto any ride they please for as many times as they please until park closing time. A cast member gets them through the back door onto any attraction. After park close you must return to the castle with your cast member where Cinderella tucks you in.
You can see out of the windows in the room. It holds up to 6 people, and if you need to leave for any reason you must be escorted by a cast member. Pretty cool!!!! This has all been confirmed by a CM in that area.
I sooooo belong there. Why, oh, why must I have to work for a living, in Illinois of all places? Why can't I just be independently wealthy and get to go every single day?
yeah I wonder what the odds are though of being picked to stay in the castle? Apparently it was stated that even being at downtown disney can get you selected to be there? I thought it was a random guest of the MK....
The parks are pretty boring after closing, just an awful lot of cleaning up, the most interesting thing I saw in the MK after hours was when a friend walked me through the haunted mansion with the lights on, they were adding "spider webs and dust" Disney style. It is kind of interesting in there, well and pirates is interesting with the lights on walking through, I had a friend who ran that ride, a word to the wise for amorous couples, even if you think you are alone and the ride has stopped they have low light video cameras in both rides and can see "everything" that goes on if you know what I mean. There really is not much to see though restocking shelves and mostly locked doors, the bad part is that if you want to go out for a midnight snack you probably can't and there won't be anyplace in the park open with the possible exception of the cast cafeteria in the utilador for the night shift, I can't remember what hours it is open for, but I doubt they would let anyone wander down there.
does the castle suite have a concierge service/room service? What if the guests get hungry at some point?
Yes, from what I was told on my Keys to the Kingdom tour, they are supplied with trays of food, fruit, chocolates and such. They said the families never eat all that is provided. Hmm, wonder if they would let you have Dole Whips at any time of the night - that would be cool!!!

I know this topic is about the suite but, i was wondering if anyone knows where the wishing well is. I know it's around the castle but i have never found it.
OMG how cool would that be?!?

you know what i was thinking, this seems to be more "kid-under-10" oriented. so im guessing even if my family gets down there this year, they probably wont give the room to us because me and my sis are older. any truth to this?
