So anyway.... someone answer me a question on this... if I'm at the park, can I see the real window that looks out over fantasyland in some way? When I'm at the rear of the castle what should I look for?
Sometimes all you need is a reminder that out there lies a better place... a better world... a Walt Disney World.

If you walk out the the back of the castle to fantasy land, and take a left you'll see a stairway leading up to the second level. If you look in the area where that doorway is that is the apartment, that stairway goes up to the apartment, unless they have changed it, which I doubt, because if I remember right it is a neccesary fire exit. It has been a while since I was up there. Back then it was a nice, normal apartment accessed by the stairway or the elevator.

They also have people there to take them around the park after it closes for a mini-Keys to the Kingdom Tour.
Yes, I heard that they can leave but they are escorted all over. I also heard that in true Disney fashinon, they kick you out first thing in the morning.

A CM told me that Disney set up a computer system for the YoaMD that randomly selects guests for winnings. Ex. for the castle stay the computer might say something like "at exacly 1pm, the first family coming off of Small World wins." When I was there in Feb., I saw the CM's all over the parks . In one case, there were five or six standing at the exit of Haunted Mansion passing out mickey hats to kids only. They were the traditional black cap but had metallic silver ears. I was on a tour in the HM when I saw them appear and head out to the exit area. No, I didn't get a hat.

Do the CM's only pick people to stay in the castle while they are in Down Town? Or do they mix it up? That be AWESOME

I'm pretty sure its completely random, so I think wherever you are you're eligible.

First, let's clarify that it's not the CMs who choose the winners. A third-party company makes a random determination of the day's winners (ie, the person in seat 5 of the second row during the 11:30am showing of "Finding Nemo: The Musical" will win what's in envelope 14) and informs the CMs. The third-party company ensures that it is, as nicks10 pointed out, completely random.

I want to stay there too. This is the coolest Disney stunt yet, gotta love it. I think my daughter would flip if we were the chosen ones. I sure would, back flip at that, maybe a hand stand, what an neat thought.
