not exactly at a disney park but i had my picture taken with him on the disney cruise.

Yes Jack Sparrow does make an apperance at Magic Kingdom && might I add that he looks just like Johnny Depp. He is right near the Pirates Of The Caribbean ride and he plays a little skit about the Black Pearl && has little kids come && help him and they recive special scrolls.

Jack Sparrow is always at teh Pirate & Princess parties... so he will be available for meet and greet during august for sure!

Hey...I saw that guy (the pic above) in the parade at the Not-So-Scary last year and if I didn't know any better I would have bet my last dollar and season pass that it WAS Johnny Depp! He acted/performed EXACTLY like Cap'n Jack and he's a dead ringer as far as looks! (super hot, too!) And I tell ya, I wasn't more than 10 feet from him for a good long while! I'm so glad someone got a pic of him!

I had a CM in the gift shop tell our family last October 2006 that everyday at 10:00 AM he makes a live appearance.
Hoping to run into him for my younger daughter this October!

If you're talking about this picture he wasn't in the parade.

He only does a show. He isn't available for meets.

He's been doing meet and greets since sometime in September. Originally it was on a trial basis, but it looks now like it's more permanent. It's at the Adventureland Verandah, Saturday to Wednesday, from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

He definitely does pictures now! This man *never* comes out of character! We all got our pictures with him at one of the meets. They take in a few families at a time, into his treasure room where he really puts on a show. He cuts up with the kids, ladies, and the men, and spends a *long* time setting up perfect pictures. He does some of the best poses with couples, so make sure you & your honey get a pic with him!

Some of the Dream people stopped us (because of my Captain Jack wig/hairband... I call it my Captain Jack "ears") and asked if we had seen him and when we told them yes, they just beamed. They said that they were *very* proud of their Jack, and that they were just testing right now but it looked like Jack meet & greets would become permanent. They gave us tattoos, stickers, pins, and asked for my autograph (

)

The meet is an honest-to-goodness show, not just pictures. He interacts with the 2-3 families waiting for pictures (the rest of the line is outside the room) and can answer any question. When a man said that he had seen his movie, Jack even had an answer for that. Then he slurred & swaggered on for a little while and had us ROLLING!

Oh... he's totally smooth with the ladies, too. And our little boy got shy when it was our turn for pictures. What did Jack do? He asked him for a hug and then he took our son's hand and made a few steps backward to the picture spot.

Right, he does not appear only during the parade. He appears to do multiple shows over by PoTC and occasionally just walks around Adventureland a bit... like... here...
