    Question Tar .VS. Honey

    I was wondering in the Splash Mountain at WDW has the Brer Rabbit getting stucking in honey but at DL it is Brer Rabbit stuck in tar like the original story. does anyone know why the mad WDW's Splash Mountain that way?

    I always thought it was because in the movie the whole thing about the "tar baby" was controversial so that they put brer rabbit stuck in honey instead of the tar so they wouldn't offend people. I'm not totally sure about this though. Does anyone have pictures from the disneyland splash mountain with brer rabbit in the tar? I didn't even know about that until I read this question.

    hmm that is a good question maybe they did it to make the ride more appealing and understandable or maybe it just had something do do with taking the rights of the original story?? who knows good question you got me wondering too!

    Splash Mountain is currently undergoing a major rehab/refurbishment. I will try to get pics of it ASAP for you all....
