Tinkerbell Questions

I know I've seen these on here but I can't find them so I thought I'd ask again real quick. I heard that Tink only comes out of the castle for the fireworks show if enough park guests ask if she will. Also, who do you ask about waking Tink up and where do you find her clock?

Tink only comes out when the weather permits. It takes 30 seconds for her to "fly" and a lot could happen if the weather wasn't ideal, even with pixie dust.

You might be mixing up the waking up Tink part. In her shop, Tinker Bell's Treasures, in Fantasyland, if you go to the shop when it opens, I believe they still do a little routine to wake up Tinker Bell.

As far as I know, Tink's fireworks flight is just dependent on weather. She's grounded if there is lightning within so many miles, winds over a certain speed at a certain altitude, etc.

Never heard about her clock. Sorry.

don't want to burst anyone's bubble-- but i just found out the tinkerbell that flies from the castle is actually a man!

they do it so you can see her better and she's far enough away so you'd never be able to tell

I don't know about Tinkerbell's clock, but at Tinkerbell's Treasures you can see her "fly" through the store. If you follow her over to the dresser and look in the key hole you will see her inside looking for Peter's shadow.

My cousin was Tink for a while and she is definately a female... besides, avg. weight is around 90 lbs for the flight. I'm not sure how many adult males fall into that category.

I had heard many moons ago, the Tinker I saw was also a man. It's been years, but that's what I had been told back then. I would guess that either a male or female could be a tinkerbell as long as the body frame was the right size for the flight!

Nope. Tink is a girl. Always has.

Actually on my recent trip to Disney World. I did the Keys To The Kingdom Tour and our guide said "Oh and just a little secret for all you guys in the group that think Tinkerbell is cute!? You know when she flies before the fireworks? Well sometimes It's not Tinkerbell. Sometimes it's a Tinker Bill." So this is actually true. But it's not always.

If I remember from my third time on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, Tink wears a full mask with lghts run through it. Although, she may have been portrayed by a male, it would by highly unusual because of the narrow weight window. Too light and she gets stuck on the way down (it has happened - they douse her lights and pull her in manually). To heavy and she slams into the platform at the bottom.

I'm not sure about that. How mant guys do you know that weigh that little? Plus I personally know Tink.

I've heard Tink is so itty bitty! She is a fairy afterall, and I'm not sure most guys could meet that weight window--how many gentlemen do you know with enough pixie dust, anyway, to make that flight!

Yes there are not many which is why my guide said "SOMETIMES!" The landing is so harsh at the end of the flight cause it's just into a mattress, that guys often opt to take the flight and they are normally small and skinny. I have never once been lied to by a Cast Member so this I beleive to be completely true. Again I'm not saying ALL THE TIME, I am saying SOMETIMES.
