how long of a wait do you have to get your hair cut? Also, do they ever close? We're going in March and my son would LOVE to get his hair cut there...
Hey... Jus thought I'd share this little secret w/ you!!! This BS is great to have your little ones first haircut at. They usually give the kids stickers and toys. They also cut adults hair, and they do a GOOD JOB TOO!!!!! it is located on the left side of Main Street. You will see the antique barbershop pole outside!!!!!

It shouldn't be too long, Just be sure to go on a weekday, you might even get to c the Dapper Dans while you r there. they also do hair coloring, NON PERMANENT THAT IS! I believe they close around five but I can't make a promise on that.

it's so much fun at the BS. boys can get there hair spiked green after it's cut and the shape of a Mickey head on the back of their heads. Also little girls can get their hair braided and have Mickey confetti put in it

I have also been told that they give kids an official certificate that says they got their hair at Disney. I don't have hard evidence to back that up yet.

When my cousin Abby first got her haircut (on her first birthday) after they were done cutting it they gave her a pair of pink Mickey ears. On the back the read: "Fisrt Haircut"

It's one of those things you have to hit just right. We were down last December and there were about 15 kids in line ahead of us. It's a small shop and there's usually only 1, sometimes 2 barbers working. Even at 5 minutes per cut, that would have taken... what... two rides around the CoP?
We decided to skip it. Maybe next time.

Por favor mantanganse alijado de las puertas.
We stood in line for 2 hours back in December. We were probably in the line that you saw.
Everyone in this thread is correct. The barber shop is open daily from 9-5. There are no reservations- first come, first served. Your child will get tons of stickers (it helps distract them) and will be entertained with toys and such.
For the great price of $14 your child will get:
-A haircut (of course)
-Mouse Ears that have "My First Haircut" embroidered on the back
-Little Mickey confetti sprinkled on their head/ coloring is optional
-A certificate and a lock of your child's hair
-They'll even do a bunch of poses with your child with a fake pair of huge scissors
*Note: Price does not include tip

If you go straight to the BS once the park opens you will beat the line. Wait a few minutes and you will be in line forever. If you get your first haircut at the BS you will get a certificate. Hope this answers your question.

Things I have learned living in ARKANSAS1. Possums sleep in the middle of the road with their feet in the air.2. There are 5,000 types of snakes and 4,998 live in ARKANSAS.3. We have four seasons: Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer and Christmas.4. A carbonated soft drink is not a soda, cola or pop...It's a 'coke' regardless of brand or flavor. Ex...What kind of 'Coke' do you want?5. People actually grow and EAT okra!!6. Sweet Iced Tea is appropriate for all meals.7. You have to switch from 'heat' to A/C in the same day.8. All the festivals across the state are named for an animal, insect, grain, vegetable or fruit.9. You work until you are done or it's too dark to see.10. Everyone can't be an Arkansan: You have to be BRAVE to live here!
I have been getting my haircut there for the past 9 months now and would HIGHLY suggest it. it has been the BEST.........THE BEST.........haircut i have ever had. And while any "barber" is good I have always had my hair cut by Michael. He has been doing a great job. OOOO thinkig about this...I'm due for a cut sometime soon...hahaha.......
i do not mean to be off topic....but how do you have that little countdown thing on your post??
