Water in Fountain of Nations or It's A Small World

Just wanted to post this. I learned this recently so I figured I'd share it incase there are others out there that do not know it.

All the countries that are represented in the World Showcase brought water to the Fountain of Nations (the fountain in the front of Epcot) and put water in it before Epcot opened. Since that day, the water has just been recylced in and out of it. So the original water really was from all the nations all over the world and it really was a fountain of nations.

The Same thing happened with It's A Small World. Walt and the Imagineers asked every country that was represented to bring water to the attraction. Water was brought and the water has been cycled through just like the Fountain of Nations.

I had heard about the Fountain of Nations, but didnt know that they also did this with IaSW. Thanks for sharing!

I learned it on my Discovery Day. I had heard something similar before, but its in the history of Epcot & It's a Small World! I'm glad I could share!

The only confirmed sharing of water is the Fountain of Nations and It's a Small World. A lot of people may get the Fountain of Nations and World Showcase Lagoon confused so that might be why you heard this but from everything I've heard, its only those two.
