Anybody else in the Career Start or College Program
Im going to DisneyWorld Aughust 27th to be part of the Disney Career Start Program, and needless to say I can't wait, because I basically get to eat and sleep at Disney World. I was wondering if anybody else here is in the program or have been in it. Any tips or secrects for when I'm there?

How long you staying for? The Career start is a GREAT program for people who don't want to go to college right away!

my first day is august 27th and last is january 4th...so about four and a half months. im working in the quick service food. which stinks because i reall wanted to work in operations with rides. but atleast i get to work at disney world and be there. and food service gets paid more then other in the program,i guess because we deal with alot of people and stuff. (though if i was going to work food,i think it would be alot of fun to be a waiter or something at a restaurant where u had to be funny and outgoing and stuff-like a character behavior is involed). we are staying at the vista way apartments,right across I-4 from downtown disney i think.
i cant wait to go because this is my first trip to disney world

If you don't like it once your there, you can always put in a transfer! The only downside to food service is that you don't rotate your position. Wherever you end up, your there for most of your shift! However, I've heard you either love it or hate it, so hopefully you'll love it!
