| We are going to All-Star movies in January '08 and would like to here stories and memories, good or bad, about your stay. Also would like to know any "don't miss" or "best to avoid" stories about this resort. What building is the best in the resort? ![]() ![]() |

| I was pleasantly surprised when I took my dance team a few years back and we stayed here. The price was very good and the accomodations were good. Clean and tidy rooms. If you can I'd request a room as close as you can to the front we had to hike to get from the love bug building to the front. The negatives to me are the amount of people that also stay there, I felt like I was on a cattle call for transportation and the food court. |

| Waiting for Paris Mousemeet in Dec 2009!!!!! Woo Hoo | I have stayed in All Star Movies twice. We have never had any problems there, it's great for the kids. The food court can be crowded but you get that all over Disney cause everyone wants to be there!!! This resort gets a thumbs up from us, the rooms are basic but how long do you spend in the rooms when you're in Disney? the beds are comfy and our room was always clean. |

| Waiting for Paris Mousemeet in Dec 2009!!!!! Woo Hoo | Sorry forgot, we have stayed in Toy Story and Love Bug and no one is better than the other. Fantasia is probably the most convenient for pool and food court x x |

| I think it is fine. I agree with the whole cattle call thing. Transportation is packed, but they sure kept the buses running so it wasn't like we had to stand around waiting all that long. Everything was clean and nice. Chrissy just returned from there- she'll be able to give you the most recent info.

| B-Ticket Holder | We stayed at Mighty Ducks building 2. Was a long haul to food and transportation--maybe its not really THAT far but with all the walking we did at the parks, it sure felt like it! I agree with what another poster said...Fantasia would be most convenient! The food court wasn't so great. Food didn't TASTE that bad but always seemed old or cold or something.. Transportation was excellent...never waited very long at all..maybe 5-7 minutes at most. Of course, this was in November not in the peak season. The gift shop employees were especially nice...front desk service wasn't very accomodating. It took us like 4 phone calls to get a late checkout. Rooms were tidy and kept...and not as small as other posters at DWT had me imagining... So all in all, it was a perfectly fine stay. Of course, you get what you pay for..and I will be staying at a moderate resort next time. But I was on a strict budget so AS Movies was perfect! Was much better than anything else I could have gotten for that price at any other Non-Disney accomodations...plus I think you lose the "magic" that way... |

| I stayed there a few years ago and enjoyed it. I didn't know better so ended up in the Herbie the Love Bug section. It is quite a walk to the main building so my recommendation is to request a building that is closer. I think Toy Story and 101 Dalmatians are close. The pool is great and the food court was pretty good as well. The rooms are a little small but that is to be expected from a value resort. My only complaint was the buses. The buses started picking up at Sports first, then Music so by the time it got to Movies, they were sometimes quite full and we often had to stand. |

| Which building is closer to the bus stops at All-Star Music? I have read that it's actually closer to walk to and from Music bus stops than from a certain building theme in Movies resort. |

| Stayed there back in the first week of January '03. I waited in a que line for over an hour just to check in. Movies by far has the best food court on property. We stayed in the love bug section. Thought it was a little far from everything, but for the price of the room and the theme of the hotel makes it very easy to forget. Hope you have fun.

| We have stayed at ASMo numerous times and it's one of our favorites! My boys feel like they are "home" when we arrive there. We have had WONDERFUL things happen to us when staying at ASMo including for my Son's 5th birthday they left him an electric Test Track race car set and a huge bunch of balloons with a photograph signed card from Buzz and Woody! We always get great towel animals when there as well! I have not one bad thing to say about ASMo! It's best if you walk in with no expectations because that makes the magic even better when and if it happens! If you expect the magic and it doesn't happen, it only leads to disappointment. As far as the closest buildings to the bus stop and food court, Fantasia is directly outiside the doors and Toy Story is directly to the left and Dalmatians is directly to the right. All of these building are now considered Preferred Rooms now. It used to be just the Fantasia buildings, but they changed the status of the other 2 sections about a year and a half ago. If you are in the Mighty Ducks section it is indeed closer to use the ASMu bus stop! ![]() I guess it depends on what time of the day and what day you arrive as far as how long you'll have to wait to be checked in. We usually get there first thing in the morning and haven't had to wait any longer checking in there as we did say at the Wilderness Lodge or The Polynesian. We LOVE the themeing at ASMo you can't get any more Disney than that resort! And I have stayed at all levels of resorts at WDW and I have never once been treated any better or any worse at any of them. The Disney Magic transcends all resort categories... Disney see's no difference between the Value and Deluxe status when it comes to treating their guests with the utmost respect and decency! |

| A-Ticket holder | i stayed at All Star Movies last summer. it was a great hotel but i dont think it matches up to Music and Sports. But then again i like when theres a lot of people at the hotel and not feel so alone and out of place. But it is definitely less crowded than Music and Sports. The food court is a lot better also. I stayed in Andys room (i think thats what it was called) and it was right by the food court and pretty close to the pool. all in all a great resort |
