Although I already no about that, there are many people who don't, so I said that it was a Good Secret.
Hey!!! I knew this secret, woo hoo!!!:yahoo:
I said it was a good secret because it does look like real stone on the castle and many people just assume that it is stone.
Yes Zero, already knew this secret.
I wish there was an option for "Knew it already" without "Lame" in front of it.
It isn't a lame secret, just not a secret to those of us with a unique obsession with WDW :)
Did you know that the castle is 189 feet tall because Walt didn't want to put a red light on the top to warn passing planes? By Florida law, if a structure is 190 feet tall or greater, they must have a blinking red light on the highest point. Walt didn't want to ruin the magic, so he made it 1 foot shorter.
Just a little tidbit ;)
the law actually is 200 ft tall. TOT is 199ft and expedition everest is 199.5ft and neither one have red lights
I think you are both right. I'm pretty sure that the law at the time the castle was built was 190ft but was later changed to 200ft.
I already knew that but it is still a good secret.
Yes the law was changed later on...but when the castle was first built it was 190ft.
ok, i didn't know that, i'm just familar with the current law
I did know that, but as you said those of us with an unnatural obsession with Disney know lots of little things like that. Not lame, just knew it.
I already kenw about it, but I said it was a good secret since there's many people that don't know.
It's a good secret, but I alsredy new about it.
