Owl...meet Mr. Toad

I know we have talked about this before and we all read about it in Lou's fabulous book, but I have a picture I wanted to post.

For those that don't know, I'll recap....Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was replaced by The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in Fantasyland at the MK. Sad as we all were to see it go, a little piece of our beloved Mr. Toad still resides in his old stomping ground. In The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, in the scene of Owl's House there is a framed picture of Mr. Toad handing Owl the deed to the property.

Thanks for posting the pic! We rode that ride twice and missed it both times. Next time we know what to look for!

The pic is great, and thanks for explaining where it is in the ride. I've heard people talk about how it was in there for a while, but no one ever explained where I could find it specifically.

i finally caught it the last time i was there...you have to be quick, i almost missed it...it's on the left after you enter owl's house

I saw a picture on a website that showed a painting of Pooh and Moley.Now,I know it wasn't Gopher because this mole was dressed in a green vest and hat.

You know, I refused to ride Pooh for years because I was bitter about Mr. Toad. I finally rode it a few years ago, during a charity "ride Fantasyland rides all night" event. Since we were limited to Fantasyland, it was only a matter of time before I broke down and rode it. I rode it with a cast member, who pointed out the Owl/Toad picture, handing over the ride, as it were. It's silly, but that small tribute actually made me feel better about the ride.

I'm new to this board and I'm really loving these threads! I too really miss Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, it was one of my favorites.

But, I really like Pooh's ride also. All the times I've ridden the ride, I've never seen that picture. I'm glad to see there is a tribute to Mr. Toad !

Now theres a reason to go ride it. We went once and had a bad experience of waiting in the line forever bc they would only let fastpass ppl in for the whole hour. I also didnt think it was worth the replacement, but now ill have to ride it just to see him.
