Question Walt Statues do what?!?

Ok I just learned that the Walt Statue in WDW face the Walt Statue in DisneyLand.
Anyone know if this is true?

and also I heard (from the same person) that the Walt Statue in WDW is waving to a Statue of his brother sitting next to Minnie Mouse in WDW.
Is that true too?

I go every year to WDW and have never noticed it.

No, the statue in WDW (called "Parnters") faces south, so it can't be facing the California one.

There is a statue (called "Sharing the Magic") of Roy O. Disney and Minnie Mouse seated on a bench in Town Square, right in front of the flag pole at the exact spot where the dedication speech for Walt Disney World was read. Walt's statue looks down Main Street towards it, but I believe that is just a coincidence.

And it's hard to call the gesture that Walt's making a "wave". I think it's closer to pointing out the vista he sees before him, or maybe pointing towards the future.

I was thinking that too. It's more of a point that a wave.

and aren't they both facing south, so even if Walt was waving, Roy would have his back to him?

Yeah, I think you're right about that. They each face out toward the entrance of the park (south) . . .
