Re: Favorite disney themepark
Nothing says Disney more than the Magic kingdom. When we pass under the train station, we're transported to a different time era, the years shed away and we're children again. We just just stroll the whole park not going into the attractions and have a grand time. The MK is so easy to tour, CW or CCW, you can pick up and remember where you are and where you're going. We make the MK many a day thru a vacation with EPCOT and DHS close seconds, we have no use at all for AK, just not our type of park.

Re: Favorite disney themepark
This was an extremely hard decision considering all of the parks have their own individual strengths. I ended up voting for the Magic Kingdom because it is the one park that I truly get emotional in when it's time to leave, and it symbolizes the true essence of what Disney magic is all about!

Re: Favorite disney themepark
Wow this was tough. It's a toss up between MK and DHS. I picked MK just because of the memories there, but DHS is a very close second for me.
I'd say my top to bottom list is:
MK
DHS
Epcot
AK

Magic Kingdom but The studios is the second fave

Re: Favorite disney themepark
yeh that is me... 5 years ago it would have been MGM... but now with all the knowledge i have of Disneylore now... MK is it... but Epcot was never in the stratosphere a few years ago... now it is... but i just cant feel the same about AK... not even in the slightest...

Re: Favorite disney themepark
I love all of them with a burning passion. but , my favorite is probally Mk, because it is the realization, for me that I am at the World.

Re: Favorite disney themepark
I enjoy all of the parks above any other theme park in the world because it takes you away from reality and puts you in a dream, the future, a fantasy, or the wild. But if i gotta choose a park it would be Epcot. Because without the Epcot concept there wouldnt have been a MK, nor would there be parks in FL. Epcot was the whole reason of coming to FL, it was Walts big vision.

Re: Favorite disney themepark
its just too bad that Uncle Walt wasn't alive to see Epcot... im sure the path that park took would be completely different if Walt was alive to see the curtain drop there...

It didnt become what he wanted it to be, but he would still love it. On a lil side note, you can see his version of Epcot if you ride on the Wedway Peoplemover.

Re: Favorite disney themepark
I chose EPCOT. Even as a child I loved EPCOT...I was a nerdy kid that loved to learn so old EPCOT was my kind of place. But I still love it...I love World Showcase. Walking around World Showcase Lagoon, I literally feel like I'm being transported to those far away lands...and eat some really yummy foods
There is nothing else like it.
MK would be a close second, followed by AK...I didn't care much for DHS my last trip.

Re: Favorite disney themepark
It's a tough choice between MK and Epcot but I just feel more magical when I walk through the gates of magic kingdom! When you first walk through main street and your just waiting to see the castle........ it's an amazing feeling. When you round the corner and you finally see it you can't help but smile.

Re: Favorite disney themepark
Traditionally have always done 2 days at MK, Seeing Cinderella castle solidifies the "have arrived moment"... but yes, all the parks are faves, but this is at the top of the list.

i have seen that quite a few times... i still think Epcot would have had many changes if Uncle Walt survived to see WDW constructed... maybe the entire resort would be different... sadly we will never know...

Re: Favorite disney themepark
I voted for Animal Kingdom - I absolutely adore this place and on our last trip spent 3 days there. Such a beautifully landscaped park and the attractions there are fab. I have love for all the Disney parks, but Animal Kingdom is the place I feel most at home in. Plus Yak And Yeti's there - yummy!
