Favorite tradition in the parks is eating the imfamous turkey leg, and seeing the 3:00 parade in any park.Outside, relaxing at stormalong bay and lunch at beaches and cream.
first night on the property, watch the fireworks from the poly beach :) i wanna go backkk
ive done that and it is awesome..!
its sooo nice bc you even hear the music in the backround from the speakers at the resort, shirley is like a half hr from me lol
We will have to do that.
For me and my family there are a few traditions in and outside of the parks.
Our first day in the parks has to be at MGM/DHS (no real reason just because that's how we have always done it)
On our last day in MK we always take the monorail to the park and the ferry back, this way the view of the castle gets further away at a slower rate.
We always start and end with the MK. One thing my husband & I love to do while our son is riding Space Mountain is to get on the TTA and ride and ride and ride. It is so relaxing. My new favorite tradition is Mickey rice krispy treats on a stick dipped in chocolate - yum!
My new favorite tradition at Disney World might be getting pregnant.
Well I can't say I've heard that one before!
Personally, for me it is the way I do the park. Start in Adventureland (Jungle Cruise is always the first) and swing round the back of the castle, ending at Tomorrowland. It's what I've been doing for decades and it still works just as well!
Our WDW tradition is to eat at Chef Mickeys our first day there and take a loop on the monorail. Just our way of breaking into our vacation!
The monorail always makes me say "I am home."
the monorail is a good welcoming home... but on my recent visit i didnt ride the monorail until our last day... its that Wilderness Lodge... staying there you dont have any reason to use it... the ferry takes you to MK... we only used it when we went from MK to Epcot...
Another couple from me:
We always go Tomorrowland and round to the left.
Same in Epcot, we always walk round World Showcase Canada to Mexico.
And one of the best is while driving from off property to the parks we always pass Downtown Disney. In Westside on the Planet Hollywood shop there is a large, eye-flashing Dinosaur, which does move round / rotate at times, however it doesnt happen all that often. In fact when I saw it the first time from the car I told my parents and they didnt believe me. And after 10 days it didnt move until we were driving back to our hotel on our last night. Since then (I think a good 5 years or so) whenever we drive past I just have to say "The Dinosaur moved" to remind us of the laugh we had about it
