It's FALL?!? Already?!?!

I always wait until I see the monorail for the first time before I officially declare...outloud..."We are finally in Disney!!!" We also tend to go to MK the first day and either Pirates or Haunted Mansion is the first ride we go on. I also try to catch from Electrical Water Pageant from the Poly beach at least once per trip.

If we can dream it, we can do it.
Well we have a couple. We see who can spot the first Disney billboard (which has almost always been me). Then we all pick a color or two of the monorails and see whos color we see first or most often.

and a more recent tradition (that started this past summer, that I will keep up)...when I'm not with my family, fastpass Toy Story Mania upon entering Hollywood Studios

My family have so many traditions...
Always pineapple Dole Whip from Adventureland for my family and a vanilla for me.
My dad and I always ride the Great Movie Ride, just the 2 of us and I always declare 'its a grand tradition' on the way in. (And I usually ask if we can go in car that will have the Western scene)
DHS first ride always ToT while we dispatch mother for the RnRC fastpasses, then plan our day around Beauty & the Beast and Indy.
I always wear my Piglet or Minnie ears. (I often put them on at the airport in London on the way!)
MK first ride always Space Mountain.
And we always always always play draughts/checkers on the table outside the candy store on Main Street (with a choc covered marshmallow on a stick) - if we havent then my trip is not complete.
Ghirardelli milk shake to go as we are leaving for home. Yum.

We usually go to EPCOT first. Don't know why, its just how it works out lol. A new tradition of our is gonna be getting a dolewhip every trip. Just tried one for the first time last fall...... greatness.
It's not really a planned tradition, but I always end up spending quite a while standing on Main Street staring at the Castle in wide eyed wonder. All I can ever say during these moments is "Wow!"
Visits to Disney:
February 2009: off-site 1 day trip to Epcot and Magic Kingdom
February 2010: All Star Movies 7 days, 6 nights of magic
February 2011: All Star Music 7 days, 6 nights of magic
September 2012: All Star Movies4 days, 3 nights of magic
We always get there early evening, so after finding out room we head down to the food court and grab our refillable mugs and have that first Sprite of the holiday (because it doesn't taste the same anywhere else!) then we will go for a quick swim, a dip in the jacuzzi and finish with a hot chocolate before bed!
First day, we always have a buffet breakfast and head to AK!
Last day, we always have a buffet breakfast, then hit all four parks in the one day, heading for our favourite rides, getting those last minute pictures on the photo pass and picking up any park specific merchandise we've been eyeing up for two weeks!
I can't imagine a trip where we don't do all of the above!
Every trip I go I always bring glow sticks from the dollar store and hand them out to families before the fireworks. It makes kids day and costs almost nothing to do![]()
We always go to Epcot first, and have to ride Spaceship Earth before we do anything else. After that, anything is fair game. Also - each time that I've gone I've brought home a new plush... so far, Minnie, Mickey, Daisy, Donald, Pluto and Figment (not sure who to get this time!!)
Last one is to look at our shoelaces on the dark rides with black lights... the first time I ever saw black lights is when I was six years old... I was so engrossed in what they looked like that I missed the whole ride! It's silly, but we always point out our glowing shoes now...
