I enjoy the people mover and the train because in a way the scenery of the line is always changing due to being outside.
I completely agree!!! It is a very well done queue once you get into the 'temple'. I love all the detail!!! Nobody pays attention! Last time we went on that ride, I was having to catch up with my dad (who walks slow) because I was looking around and he was just going through without looking at anything! I think it is a very well done queue and only wish people would appreciate it more.

i have noticed in certain situations the imagineers do a fantastic job of setting up the story... i.e. ToT, PoTC, EE, Splash, THM, and so on...
and other times... BTM, Spaceship Earth, and Dumbo
the theming is still there... but the commitment to detail isn't

I love tsmm, but I always FP it, so Soarin' would be second choice. "nice work pal..."
(if you know that reference, that congrats!

I love both Expedition Everest and the Jungle Cruise for all the details. (Ilene Dover and Anne Fellen, anyone?)
Meep? Meep mee mee meep. Mi mee meep. Meeeep!
I adore EE's queue and will often (when the standby time is reasonable) choose that over FP or the SR line. I've been through it lots of times and I still don't think I've seen everything. It's just really incredible.

I picked ToT, EE, and TSM. ToT is just creepy through and through. Walking up to the hotel is creepy with the music and the fog and everything is run down. Then you get into the building and you really feel creeped out. I didn't notice until my last trip 2 years ago that the book To Serve Man was sitting in one of the libraries. I geeked out and took a picture when I saw that. I think everything about EE has already been said. TSM is awesome because seeing all the toys life sized is really cool. Plus you have Mr. Potatohead.
I picked six areas, but my personal favorite is Toy Story Midway Mania. I mean, Mr. Potato Head will remove his ear for you, then insult the guy behind you, then sing for the next person. How cool is that? ^__^
I picked Pirates because that queue is such a great transition into the ride. Good music, pirates playing chess and, well, you know it, you love it, you can't wait to smell it, L'eau de Moisi (Musty Water).
My favorite out here at Disneyland is Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Like Everest, you really can spend a lot of time in that queue exploring.
BareFozzie in the box
I agree with the Indiana Jones Adventure having the best queue at Disneyland. The way they've changed how the line works since fast pass can make it a little hard to fully explore, though.

3-Way tie between Toy Story Midway Mania, Muppetvision and Star Tours.
the muppets has a pretty cool queue... make sure you see "a net full-a- jell-o" (hahaha) and the picture of Jim Henson's muppet...
