def. get there to see the christmas transformation... the very merry xmas party... and ive been down there when they film the christmas day parade... good stuff..

YES!! By all means, go during the Christmas holidays if you can. We went Thanksgiving week last year and the parks were beautiful!! The Osborne Spectacle of Lights is a must see!

Also, ride the Haunted Mansion at night! It's a very different experience than in the daytime.

eat at the Polynesian dinner show. it's soo fun. also ride the bicycles on the Boardwalk.

Always try at least one new thing every trip.

new food, new restaurant, mini golf, bike rental, tour a different resort, even visit an attraction you haven't seen in 20 years...that'll be new enough!

Enjoy a Dole float (Dole whip and pineapple juice) while people-watching on a stone bench near Swiss Family Robinson Tree House.

Stay in the Magic Kingdom or Epcot until closing. Pick a bench as far away from the gate as you can and wait for the crowd to exit then enjoy a leisurely walk through the magic.

The Magic Kingdom after dark should never be missed if you can plan a stay when the park is open till midnight. Its a compleatley different world to take in. And as already noted, Splash Mtn and Thunder RR are way better at night. Actaully thinking back all the other outdoor rides were for me realy enjoyable after dark. Jungle Cruise was realy fun, as was the normally tame steam trains.

Last time I was there was many years ago and the MK was very dark. Only sources of light was from the twinkling lit trees and dimly lit store/shop/resturant and ride fronts.

Big Thunder Mountian Rairoad and the Jungle Cruise are both amazing after dark
