Tom Sawyer Island is the best :)
Tom Sawyer Island, front row on Splash Mountain, the rocking chair on the riverboat at the end of Splash Mountain, and the benches near the Carpets in adventureland.
I 100% agree with Tom Sawyer Island...also, some of the walkways to the side of the castle that lead to Liberty Square and Fantasyland (inside the trees to the left of the castle). Usually not many people are walking by there, so it's nice to just sit and take a breather by the castle; and it's also a good place to watch afternoon parades without a big crowd.
I loves me some Tom Sawyer Island. The little trails lead to some really quiet places. So much so that you can actually forget that you are in a crowded theme park.
I've never been, much to my eternal shame. Probably too old to "get" it the same way now.
And congratulations to your excellent sig block for surviving a couple of weeks. Encore?
I guess I've rested on my laurels long enough. I'll see if I can find a substitute.
They want YOU as a new recruit!

What about the Navy?

The walkway between Tomorrowland and Toontown is never busy, even when the park is.
I love riding both the TTA and the Liberty Belle for a nice relaxing, peaceful moment.
DH and I love to sit on the Rocking chairs in Front of the trading post store in Frontierland across from the Turkey Leg stand, and eat a leg!
I also like the second floor of the Columbia Harbor House. Quiet with a great view!
