Try heading over to Tom Sawyer Island. There are several covered areas near the water for relaxing in a rocking chair, watching Big Thunder Mountain, playing checkers etc.

I like going over toward Tomorrowland, getting on the TTA when it's quiet, and just sitting there and relaxing!
OR, when the Haunted Mansion ride flips you backwards and you go down hill backwards. It's the best feeling after being on your feet all day!
The walkway between Toontown and Tomorrowland, very quiet.

We always liked the walkway between Toontown and Tomorrowland; finding a bench in the shade and letting the kids nap in their strollers.
I also think Tom Sawyer Island is a great place to relax.
Any park bench under a tree with fresh popcorn and a cold coke.
You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension - a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas.
There is a small garden hidden away nearly in the base of Cinderella's Castle... I think it's called the "rose garden." Belle reads aloud from books here at posted times (which is awesome for little princesses who need a break from the hustle bustle) but when Belle's not there, it's very peaceful and beautiful.
This only applies to readers who are parents of infants, but my first thought when I read the title of the thread was the Baby Care Center. It's never crowded, there are little tables and toys for kids, and you can really freshen up. Tho we've outgrown it, I especially LOVED the breastfeeding room (I'm sure if you are female no one would care if you bottle fed there, lol)... on a hot June day, it's dim, cool, quiet... you can SIT... sigh... those were the days!
I posted this in another thread but I thought I'd put it here too. Some people may not like this but here goes. Not all of the smoking areas are shown on the maps, if you ask a CM you can find some unknown smoking areas and I have found that many times they are empty. And understandably Disney doesn't want a bunch of smokers out in the open so many of these places are tucked away behind trees or buildings and are in the shade and away from the crowds. You may not like them if someone is smoking back there but chances are that some of them are empty. And this goes for all of the Parks.

Those are my two! My dad and I always get excited when the car flips around in HM...
Also, I've caught people sleeping in Phillarmagic and Carousel of Progress, so I guess if you have seen it before and just need a place to nap, its pretty peaceful in there and no one will disturb you for at least 8-10 minutes and its cool and dark![]()

The area around sleepy hollow is nice especially with a ice cream cookie sandwich...... YUM!
Yes, I also would like to say that walkway between Toontown and Tomorrowland! It is really peaceful site in MK and an ideal place in MK for those people who want to spend some time in a peaceful ambiance.
