Hidden Walts

One of my favorite WDW secrets is (or I guess I should say "five of my favorite WDW secrets are") the Hidden Walts in Share a Dream Come True. One of them is really easy to find; the others...not so much, even if you're looking for them. I love picking them out every time! Highlight the spoiler below to read the locations of the Hidden Walts.

Mickey's "It was all started by a mouse" Float: Walt's silhouette can be found on the movie reel on top of the globe on the camera
Pinocchio's Float: A miniature version of the partners statue is camouflaged beside Cleo's bowl behind the cuckoo clock
Aladdin's Float: Walt's silhouette appears on Dumbo's rattle
Villains' Float: Look closely at the rocks on the left side of the float
Peter Pan's Float (this is the obvious one): The famous photograph of Walt walking through the gateway of Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland is etched in the back of the float

Ya know... I've heard about these hidden walts in the SaDCT parade, and have looked each time I watched it, but have yet to spot them. Even looking back through my pictures I can't make them out. Does anyone have any pics with them more clearly visible? Maybe I'm just not looking at the floats from the right angles or something.

Well, you can collect this info about the Hidden Walts in the Share a Dream Come True parade, but it's not going to do you much good to try to find them anymore. The SADCT parade ended about a year ago and was replaced by the Disney Dreams Come True parade (which I don't like quite as much, personally... but that's just my two cents). While many of the floats in the new parade are recycled versions of the old ones, I have not seen any of the Hidden Walts that I was aware of on the old floats carried over onto the floats that replaced them.

So that's what happened to the Peter Pan Float! I used to love Peter Pan and always looked forward to seeing his float and then we went and it was gone! I was upset for two whole minutes. Cuz right after that we rode POTC
