How Does Mickey Scuba Dive?

I was wondering how they have Mickey go underwater at the living seas, err umm excuse me the seas with nemo and friends. I wrote about my question here: The Four Parks: Scuba Mickey Do any of you know? Leave a comment and discuss on my blog or right here.

I once ate at the Coral Reef restaurant in 2005 with my family. We were fortunate enough to get a table next to the glass...the last table before the kitchen. And what happens? Mickey is in the tank...RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR TABLE!!! People were crowding our table, mid-meal to take pictures of Mickey. Had to stop eating for a few minutes...but of course we got our huge share of pictures. It was epic. After Mickey went away, our waitress explained to us that Mickey only goes in the tank when the Seas is hosting a "VIP Guest." She said that Mickey appearing in the tank happened not much more than about a few times a year; maybe a bit more now, as that was 2005. So the "VIP Guest" must've been a big name.

I'd assume that inside, as Steve said, the diver is using SCUBA gear. Guessing the costume used for the dive is probably not just plain cloth like the others as it'd be really heavy as it soaked with water.

I can only speak to the pictures I have looked at, but it certainly appears to be a slightly modified wetsuit. The gloves draw a lot of attention to themselves.

Wow! I had no idea that this was even there, let alone so beautiful! I can just imagine what it'd be like to have an event there. How incredible.
